Series Title
Adult Christian Life, NextGen Leaders, and Master Teacher explore the cyclical pattern of apostasy, repentance, and divine rescue in Israel's story. From Joshua's final warning to the lawlessness of Judges, these lessons reveal what happens when God's people abandon their covenant and lose their moral compass.
Adult Christian Life · NextGen Leaders · Master Teacher · Joshua & Judges
Joshua reminds the Israelites of God's faithfulness throughout their long history and urges them to make the radical choice to serve God rather than the world.
Joshua 24:18–27
Though presented with many opportunities to follow God's way, the people of Israel choose disobedience. They face the consequences of defeat and distress in enemy-occupied territory.
Judges 2:6–15
Despite their unfaithfulness in following God's way, He is faithful in raising judges to rescue Israel from the immediate threat they face from their enemies.
Judges 3:15–23, 30
God's faithfulness is infinite, yet the people consistently fall back into religious impurity and lawlessness rather than keeping their covenant promise to God.
Judges 17:1–6; 18:18–19, 27
